Cancellation & refunds

1. Cancelling the renewal

Go to My account → Billing & invoices and cancel. Your plan stays active, with its remaining cleanings and club membership, until the end of the year you have paid for. It then ends and is not charged again.

2. Your 14-day right to withdraw

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a new annual plan or a single cleaning within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason. Write to hello@cleanboat.pt and tell us which booking it is.

If you pick a cleaning date inside those 14 days, you ask us to start within the withdrawal period. If that cleaning has already been done: for a single cleaning, the service has been fully provided and the right to withdraw no longer applies; for an annual plan, we refund the year’s price minus one fifth for each cleaning already made. Otherwise the refund is in full.

3. Moving or cancelling a single cleaning

To move a single cleaning, use Ask for another date next to it in your account and we will confirm a new date with you. After the 14 days, a single cleaning is not refunded if you cancel it, but you can move it to another date instead. If we cannot make the cleaning at all, for example because we stop operating at your marina, we refund it in full.

4. An annual plan after 14 days

The year you have paid for is not refunded if you cancel part-way through it; you keep the remaining cleanings until the year ends. If we cannot provide the cleanings in your plan year, for example because we stop operating at your marina, we refund one fifth of the year’s price for each cleaning we could not make.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, within 14 days of our agreeing them. Your bank may take a few more days to show them.
