Once a year
Barnacles and tubeworms set hard. Scraping them off takes the coating too, and the boat runs fouled for most of the year.

Most owners don’t know until the boat comes out of the water. By then, growth may already be costing you fuel, speed and money.
cleanboat cleans your hull with an underwater robot, right in your marina.
Regular cleaning is a fraction of the price you really pay. Big bills come when you keep it dirty:
Days
Weeks
Months
A yearFigures from research on ships. Small boats differ in size and speed, but the physics of a rough hull is the same.
This can add up to thousands of euros a year in hidden costs you thought were normal. No one told you there’s another way, with no surprises and nothing for you to worry about.
How can I cut these costs? Before and after
Drag across the picture. On the left, a hull left for a year. On the right, the same hull kept clean with a visit every 8 to 10 weeks.

Illustrations, not customer photos. Every real visit is filmed, and the film goes into the owner’s account.
Why every 8 to 10 weeks
A diver or a haul-out costs enough that most owners clean once a year. That price sets the interval, and the interval decides whether the coating survives the cleaning.

Barnacles and tubeworms set hard. Scraping them off takes the coating too, and the boat runs fouled for most of the year.

Keel lifts off soft film and early weed, which sit on top of the coating. Shells don’t get the time to cement themselves, so the coating lasts.
Our operator flies the drone from the pontoon and stays out of the water. Your boat stays in her berth, and you don’t need to be there.

Tell us the boat, the berth and the first date. We schedule the other four visits.

Flown from the pontoon, the drone lifts soft growth before it can bond to the coating.

A film of your hull after every visit, with notes from the operator.

Once a month we get owners together on the water or on the pontoon. Your plan is your membership, so there is nothing else to join.

We film every hull we clean, and its owner gets the film. Your marina buys no equipment and hires nobody, and we’re open to sharing revenue with marinas.
Talk to us about your marinacleanboat cleans boat hulls with a small underwater drone called Keel, five times a year, on an annual subscription. After every visit you get a film of your hull.
An operator flies Keel from the pontoon. The drone works the hull where the boat floats, so there is no haul-out and nobody enters the water.
Prices follow length overall (LOA) and include VAT. The annual plan of five visits is €645 a year up to 8 m, €845 up to 10 m, €990 up to 12 m and €1,190 up to 14 m, billed annually in advance. A single clean is €150, €190, €250 or €300. Boats over 14 m and multihulls are quoted individually.

No. We work from the pontoon, and the film of the hull is in your account the same day.
Every 8 to 10 weeks, growth is still soft and sits on the coating, so it comes off without scraping. Research on ships shows even a thin slime layer can raise fuel use and emissions by 20 to 25% (IMO).
